About This Award

The LED Award site will guide you through the registration process.

Categories are open to entries from all companies worldwide. You will be asked to supply the following supporting material for each of your Lighting Products and Project entries: 2 - 5 high quality printed photographs and a CD of the original images. Judges may move submissions between categories as they feel appropriate.  (You may also email the digital images)

You will be emailed a reference number for each entry. All products for submission shall have entry number on all supporting information you send in to the TheLEDAward Team

Submit for TheLEDAward 2012

Product Submission Criteria:

  • Each applicant must submit:
    I. One fixture and driver with ability to utilize a 120v outlet.
    a. Must include:
    − Description
    − Manufacturer & Catalog Number
    − Wattage / Voltage(s)
    − Additional Notes

    2. One (1) page narrative or promotional material.

    3. Image of product in use / or rendering.

    Listings:
    - U.L.,CSA, ETL, LM-79-80, etc.
    - Efficiency, color rendition (CQS), dimming compatibility, etc.
    − Maintenance (durability, accessibility, lamp life, etc.)
    − Compliance (IES recommendations, standards, and codes)

 

  • LED Designer of the Year

    Submit projects that exemplify the use of LED technology. Body of work to be submitted in a concise Bio with digital and printed photo montage (max 4 pages + bio)
    The LED Designer of the Year will be someone who, in the judging panel's opinion, has exhibited exceptional lighting design skills, innovation and vision with LED technology over the past 5 years.
    Product specific design and images of use must be provided.
    Manufacturers may nominate and submit Designer(s) for entry.

Finalist must have a registered Booth at The LED Show to receive award.
